When the lardo ice cream sandwich appeared last Monday, was there any doubt it would become a fixture on our dessert menu?
Yes, we’ve been down with the goodness of bacon, caramel and ice cream since 2006. But here, the innovation is that not only does the ice cream accompany bacon and caramel, it actually has dry cured (pastured) pork in it. (Next up: We take live tuna fish, and feed ‘em mayonnaise. Call Starkist!)
Plus, the chocolate chip cookies made with organic, stone milled Oaxacan-style Taza chocolate aren’t a bad addition, either.

Wow! This sounds awesome! I hope I could have a taste of it someday! I think it’s so delicious!
