We’ve got a full schedule of excellent events planned for January, I’m stoked to say. Check it:
* Fri-Sat, 8-9 Jan: Steakhouse weekend with grass-fed Angus filet mignon from Spanish Oak Ranches in San Luis Obispo.
* Friday 8 Jan: Elvis’ Birthday, with The King’s Meatloaf and ‘Nanner Sandwiches.
* Tuesday 12 Jan: Reuben Tuesday.
* Sometime later that week: dinner with Taza Chocolate.
* Sunday 17 Jan: Ballast Point Smokeout, with 4 BP beers on cask (Victory at Sea, Big Eye, Calico, Sculpin), 5 BP beers on draft, and whole pig roasting on the spit. The NFL playoffs (including the Chargers game) will be on that day, too.
* Tuesday 19 Jan: Wine dinner with The Wine Garage from Napa Valley, vintners of Linkery Foghar Blend, Steph’s Mix Tape, WG Bordeaux Blend, and Joy Ride.
* Thursday 21 Jan: Beer dinner with Cucapa Brewing from Mexicali; they’ll be in house to share more about their excellent brewery south of the border.
* Monday 25 Jan: Rabbie Burns Night! Haggis and poetry. I’m just sayin’. This was great fun last year.
* Saturday 30 Jan: 30th on 30th. More about this neighborhood event soon!
