We are pleased to announce a very special event in a couple weeks at the Linkery, in partnership with two of the finest, most elevated craft beverage companies in California.
We will be holding an evenings of pairings with both The Bruery and Intelligentsia. The Bruery is know for their excellent Belgian style ales, and Intelligentsia is one of the most important companies in Third Wave coffee (Juan wrote about visiting their LA facilities here and here).
As part of this event, we will be debuting the new collaboration beer between the Bruery and Intelligentsia, Toddy Barleywine which is made with Kirundo Muyinga coffee from Burundi, roasted by Intelligentsia (coffee tasting notes: green apple, citrus zest, and orange lead to a finish of wildflower honey).
Nick Griffth and Intelligentsia’s championship-level baristas will be on hand, pouring coffee (both hot and cold) and tea. The specific pairings they will bring are still TBD, watch this space for updates.
As for the food and beer, it’s all a la carte, each pairing $10.
