The caskenstein is complete, and sweetly holding steady at 50 degrees F.
This is a custom cask beer dispense unit, which holds the beer at serving temperature up to the point of dispense. Before we built it, we had a problem that the first 4-8 ounces of each pour were not reliably at temperature, so the temperature of each pour was not predictable, and sometimes not in an acceptable range.
Now we can be confident that every pour will be at cellar temperature, which makes for the best cask beer drinking experience.
