Domaine Tempier Bandol Rose, in the house
Posted by Jay on Thursday, 28 May 2009
Domaine Tempier Bandol Rose arrived today. We are lucky enough to be one of a small number of Southern California restaurants to be allocated the wine.
This is the pink wine that many people consider the best rose in the world. Here’s a good blog post about it by a friend of a friend.
We’re selling it by the taste (2 oz pour) and glass, so that more people can try it out, as well as by the bottle. ($10 / 25 / 85).

Thanks for the shout out, Jay! Tracie B and I will come by in June and drink a bottle with you…
Kermit also turned us on to the Terrebrune Bandol, which BrooklynGuy also likes a lot… It was amazing, definitely worth checking out…
We’ll stop by when we’re in town the second week of June.
Thanks again! j

Jon, I guess you’ll just have to make do with the dozens of underpublicized, phenomenal, not very expensive, best-of-varietal Old World Wines that are all over your wine list at Jayne’s. Well, those, and the amazing bottles that John or Jeremy bring in to share with people at the bar.
