You might remember Virgin Islands Pale Ale as the refreshing, mango-infused session beer we get from our friends Cheech and Kevin out in St. John. It’s an ale, not a wheat beer, and it has moderate hops that balance the mango nicely.
When we moved to our new location last summer, what with the roll up doors and outdoor feel, we sold out of California’s share of the brew. And due to the production and logistics challenges of getting the beer out from the East Coast, we couldn’t get any more until…brrrr…January.
So, here it is January, 80 degrees and beautiful, the doors are up, and a pallet of VIPA rolled in today. ‘Cept now it’s called Virgin Island Tropical Mango. Come in for some Vitamin VITM this afternoon when you leave work early to soak in this weather.
