* The opening of Jair’s new place appears to be set for 29 November, and the name has been streamlined to Restaurante del Parque.
* Although it was very well-loved and heavily poured at its debut last nite, we’ve still got a bit of 30th Street Pale Ale in house. Not sure if it will be here tomorrow.
* This looks great. Back Forty is an NYC place I really enjoyed and have recommended to friends with great results. Yes, we intend to do something like this at some point. But I really want ours to involve a spit.
* We’re closed Thanksgiving Thursday, and open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday we’ll open at noon. When we serve lunch, though, the kitchen does close for 2+ hours in the afternoon, and reopens at 5:30.
* Bobby has been expanding the wine list a lot recently, and I think in the next couple days its growth will have completed. If, like me, you are a wine lover, come by and check out the new stuff.
