Yes, we have Pliny The Younger ready to tap at the Linkery.
Last year, we discovered that, if we just sold it the way we sell all our other beer, two problems happened: 1) It wasn’t a great beer drinking experience for lot of people, since it was kind of chaotic and not very relaxed in here, and 2) Many of you, who come to the Linkery specifically to enjoy craft beer with good food, didn’t get a chance to try it since it was sold out before dinner even really started.
So, this year, we’re doing something different with it. We’re selling Pliny The Young only as a part of a pairing, only in a half-pour, and subject to a one-pairing-per-person limit. Our goal is to give the most people possible, the best possible experience with the beer.
Ketchup in the making
And what’s the pairing, you ask? A pastured goat mini burger, topped with house cured goat bacon, and house made ketchup from local Suzie’s Farm yellow tomatoes.
The pairing is $11, and will be available starting when we open, at 5pm, on this Thursday, March 3rd.
