OK, so here’s the lineup of specials for the World Cup qualifying match on Wednesday.
* Grassfed barbecue brisket
* Pastured lamb barbacoa
* Micheladas with Victory Prima Pils, red-oak smoked salt, lime, and (optional) marinated Mexican shrimp
We’ll open at 3:30pm, kitchen opens at 4. Juan is hosting at the bar. The Linkery Bar Stimulus Package is also in effect.
Sounds great! I usually go to the Shakespeare Pub to watch soccer games. What is your TV like and how is the sound? Will I be able to hear the game?
serious soccer fan
Hi Brian,
Our bar has a couple 40″ flatscreens and a projection TV. Note that we’re not a proper sports bar, just a restaurant and bar run by people who happen to love sports (particularly all kinds of football: international, American, Aussie Rules, we’d probably love Gaelic football too if we understood it).
We’ll have the sound on but just through the TV, it doesn’t run through our house speakers or anything. Don’t know how loud it will be, that’ll depend on the mood, I reckon.
