Yes, that was Michelle Obama visiting our friends at New Roots Community Garden today. Congratulations to Amy Lint and all the wonderful farmers at NRCG for getting such a well-deserved spotlight on their work.

We visited the farm in December, when Che took a lot of cool (and large and slow-loading, be patient) pictures.

tuesdays: fried pastured chicken and 1/2 price beer flights

wednesdays: bivalves & belgians local mussels & clams $10 belgian-style beers $4

thursdays: chili nite "chili dog" sausage sandwich, chili fries, or chili bowl, your choice for $10

friday fish fry local catch of the day and Kennebec frites.

every weekday 11:30am-4:30pm: lunchtime meal combos, food & beer $12-14

every night after 10pm: happy hour, all draft beers $4 (plus tax & service)
