Ingredients 12 pieces
pastry:
- Butter, room-temperature: 125 g
- Powdered sugar: 1½ dl
- Flour: 3 dl
- Baking Soda: 3 tsp
Vanilla sugar: 1 tbsp
Filling:
- Tart apples: 3
- Almonds: 1 dl
- Supporting cardamom kernels: 1 tsp
- Egg white: 1
- Vanilla sauce: 5 DL
How to prepare
- Chop or mix together all the ingredients for the dough quickly. Leave to rest for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Set oven to 175 °. Push ⅔ of dough into a mold with a removable edge, about 24 cm in diameter.
- Roll out the rest of the dough into a round lid, about 24 cm in diameter. Tear the apples and chop the almond, put in a bowl. Add cardamom and egg white, stir.
- Distribute the filling in the pie shell and cover with the pie lid.
- Chop the cake and bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 min.
- Let the cake cool and serve with the custard.
