Ingredients cardamom cake with frosting
- cardamom seeds
- 1 tablespoon
- Butter & rapeseed oil 1½ dl
- Powdered sugar 2 dl
- Egg: 4
- Quark vanilla flavor 1 dl
- Flour 4 dl
- Baking Soda 1 tsp
Glaze:
- Quark vanilla: 1½ dl
- shredded peel of ½ lemonds
- Sliced kumquats: 4
How to prepare
Set oven to 175 °. Crush the cardamom in a mortar. Stir together butter & rapeseed oil, cardamom, sugar, eggs, millet and flour mixed with baking powder. Pour it into a greased and breaded mold, about 24 cm in diameter. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 40 minutes. Let the cake cool. Mix the mercury and lemon zest. Spread it over the cake. Garnish with kumquats and shredded lemon zest.
