How to Make Pesto Pie Recipe

Ingredients 6 servings

  • Sifted pine flour: 2½ dl
  • Butter:  100 g
  • Quark: 1 dl

Filling:

  • Fresh basil 2 pots
  • Egg 3
  • Quark: 1¾ dl
  • Whipped cream: 1 dl
  • Grated cheese gratin: 150 g
  • Salt: ½ tsp
  • Black pepper: 1 pinch
  • Pressed garlic cloves: 2
  • Roasted pine nuts: 1 dl

How to prepare

  • Chop flour and butter into a grainy mass. Add flour and work quickly into a dough. Press out the dough into a pie mold, about 23 cm in diameter.
  • Chop with a fork. Allow the pie dough to rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Set oven to 200 °.
  • Chop the basil. Whisk together eggs, mince, cream, cheese, salt, pepper, garlic and basil.
  • Bake pie shell in the middle of the oven about 10 min. Pour in the filling and sprinkle over the pine nuts. Bake in the middle of the oven 35-40 min.
