Rinconada Reconnaissance

We stopped in recently to visit Christine and Jim Maguire of Rinconada Dairy in Santa Margarita on the Central Coast.

In addition their excellent artisan cheeses, Christine and Jim provide us with the pastured lamb we served all winter at the Linkery and El Take It Easy, and with one whey-fed, acorn-finished pig each year — and we’re serving pork chops from this year’s pig, this week.

And their farm is beautiful.
