Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Ingredients 4 servings

  • Dark Chocolate: 100 g
  • Whipped cream: 2½ dl
  • Egg yolks: 2
  • Powdered sugar: 2 tablespoons
  • Water: 1 tablespoon

Roasted almonds

  • Orange: 1 teaspoon grated peel from 1
  • Powdered sugar
  • Almonds: ½ dl

How to prepare

  • Chop the chocolate into smaller pieces and place in a bowl.
  • Whisk 1.5 dl of the cream loosely and set cold.
  • Boil the rest of the cream and beat over the chopped chocolate, stirring to an even batter.
  • Boil sugar and water and pour in a uniform beam over the yolks, whisking vigorously to a fine foam.
  • Mix in the chocolate batter in the egg foam and then turn in the whipped cream. Divide the mousse into glasses. Let the mousse set in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

Roasted almonds:

  • Peel a thin piece of orange peel with a potato peeler. Finely shred the shell. Grease a piece of baking sheet paper with oil. Melt the sugar in a small saucepan. Stir in orange peel and almond with a wooden spoon. Pour the mixture onto the paper. Let it sit for about 30 minutes. Chop it with a large sharp knife. Sprinkle the chopped almond over the mousse.
