Cooking chicken is not difficult! In this article, we will show you how to cook the different parts of the chicken. You will also find a table so you know what temperature to look out for.
Cook chicken – breast and thigh fillet
- Season with salt, pepper, and any seasoning according to your preference
- Brown it slightly on high temperature in frying pan, butter and oil 50/50
- Place the chicken on a grill with a long pan underneath and fry in a 180-degree hot air oven.
- Remove the chicken when the thickest part has reached the correct inside temperature (see table below)
- Let the chicken stand for 5 minutes before serving
Cooking chicken – Whole chicken
- Season plenty of salt, pepper from the mill and optional seasoning
- Place the chicken on a grill with a long pan under and roast at 225 degrees for 20 minutes. Lower the temperature to 120 degrees and fry until the thickest part has reached the correct inside temperature
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving
Optimal inner temperatures for chicken
Chest: 68 degrees
Thigh fillet: 72 degrees
With legs: 85 degrees
Whole chicken: 72 degrees
