Cooking chicken -Top tips and Temperatures

Cooking chicken is not difficult! In this article, we will show you how to cook the different parts of the chicken. You will also find a table so you know what temperature to look out for.

Cook chicken – breast and thigh fillet

  1. Season with salt, pepper, and any seasoning according to your preference
  2. Brown it slightly on high temperature in frying pan, butter and oil 50/50
  3. Place the chicken on a grill with a long pan underneath and fry in a 180-degree hot air oven.
  4. Remove the chicken when the thickest part has reached the correct inside temperature (see table below)
  5. Let the chicken stand for 5 minutes before serving

Cooking chicken – Whole chicken

  1. Season plenty of salt, pepper from the mill and optional seasoning
  2. Place the chicken on a grill with a long pan under and roast at 225 degrees for 20 minutes. Lower the temperature to 120 degrees and fry until the thickest part has reached the correct inside temperature
  3. Let rest 5 minutes before serving

Optimal inner temperatures for chicken

Chest: 68 degrees
Thigh fillet: 72 degrees
With legs: 85 degrees
Whole chicken: 72 degrees
