The hob can be fitted with cast iron plates or a glass-ceramic hob. The cooker needs to be installed in a worktop, and the separate oven is often built into a cabinet. If you choose a hob and a separate oven of odd dimensions, it can be a little tricky to replace them if they break.

Induction hob

An induction hob is almost as fast in terms of heat management as a gas stove. The great advantage of the hob is that it only warms pans, and is not warm if a hand is placed on it. They can be as simple as a regular free-standing oven with stove or can be pure professional stoves with a variety of functions. The disadvantage of gas stoves is the separate installation with gas tubes that need to stand in a safe place.

The enameled cast iron ovens can be seen as the kitchen Rolls Royce. They really believe in the kitchen and demand their place. They also require their wallet, because they are expensive to buy. But they last a lifetime and can be part of the heating system of a house, so they are worth every penny for whoever can pay them.
