Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie Recipe

Ingredients 10 pieces

  • 4 dl wheat flour
  • 1 dl powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 175 g butter (room warm)
  • Filling
  • 1.7 dl powdered sugar
  • 0.7 dl of pectin
  • 400 g strawberries
  • 400 g rhubarb

How to prepare

  • 30 minutes
  • Set the oven to 175 degrees.
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Stir in the room-warm butter and work into a dough. Press out the dough into a spring shape with removable edges, about 24 cm in diameter.
  • Bake pie shell for 10 minutes so it gets some color.
  • Mix sugar and pectin. Divide strawberries and rhubarb into suitable pieces and mix with the sugar and pectin mixture.
  • Divide the berries in the pie shell and bake for 15 minutes.
