Almond Cake with Cherries Recipe


  • 400 g of coarse almond pulp
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g of room-warm butter
  • 1 dl wheat flour
  • 0.5 tsp mortar cardamom
  • 175 g of cherished cherries

How to prepare

  • Set oven to 175 °.
  • Lubricate a round shape with a removable edge, about 24 cm in diameter.
  • Mix almond paste, eggs, butter, flour and cardamom with an electric whisk.
  • Pour the batter into the mold and spread the cherries on the cake. Bake in the middle of the oven 30–35 min. The cake may be a bit messy.
