Apple Sponge Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 125 g margarine, room warm
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2.5 dl wheat flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 lemon, grated shell
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 3 peeled apples

How to prepare

  • Lubricate and brew a round shape with detachable edge, about 24 cm in diameter.
  • Stir the fat greasy with the sugar.
  • Add one egg at a time and then flour mixed with baking powder, lemon zest and milk. Pour the batter into the mold.
  • Cut the apples into thin slices and stick them in the batter tightly next to each other.
  • Sprinkle with sugar mixed with cinnamon.
  • Bake the cake in the bottom of the oven for 175º for 30-40 minutes.
